These are the neighborhoods with the highest theft rates, according to the Attorney General’s Office

A report from the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic has revealed, through its statistical crime analysis, the neighborhoods and sectors where the highest number of criminal incidents are recorded.
The geographic breakdown by neighborhood identifies San Isidro (7.63%), Villa Consuelo (7.48%), Los Mina (5.18%), Villas Agrícolas (4.75%), and Cristo Rey (4.32%) as the areas with the highest rates of criminal activity.
These are followed by Pantoja, Ensanche Naco, San Carlos, Boca Chica, Los Mameyes, Ensanche Ozama, San Luis, and Villa Mella.
According to the report, updated as of April 25, a total of 5,423 thefts were recorded in these areas. Of these, 61.1% were classified as simple theft, 18.7% as assaults (muggings), 6.3% as snatch-and-run incidents, 5.8% as residential break-ins, and 8.1% as other types of theft.
